What eMD Access Patients Are Saying...

Dear Vista360 Health. I wanted to thank you for the excellent service provided by the eMD Access telemedicine program . I logged in and sent a question to the doctor on call. My daughter had some unusually severe oak allergy symptoms and I wanted to try an over the counter recommendation prior to making a paid appointment with our doctor. I got a reply within 30 seconds and a phone call within 60 seconds. The local doctor on call recommended a product and follow-up plan if the medication was ineffective. I got the eye drops that day and they were superb. I had my entire medical question resolved in less than 5 minutes at no additional cost. I cannot recommend this service more highly and it is another reason why Vista360 Health is proving to be a superior health insurer meeting the needs of their customers – Pam S

I wanted to thank you for rolling out the eMD program. We have already used it twice and both times I couldn’t have asked for better care. Both doctors were attentive and were spot on with their diagnosis and treatment. In one instance my son was out of state so it saved him a trip to urgent care! Now when anything is amiss eMD is the first place we go! Thank you!! Michelle E

Vista360health is pleased to offer eMD Access as a free service (no copay, deductible, or coinsurance) to all our members. Also as part of a member’s health benefits, Vista360health covers health care services delivered by a Participating Physician to a member as a telemedicine or a telehealth service. This may be a member’s Primary Care Provider (PCP) or a Specialist.

Should you receive a telemedicine or telehealth service from a Participating Physician outside of eMD Access, you may be required to pay a deductible, a copayment, or coinsurance for a covered health care service.   As Vista360health is in full accordance with the Texas Department of Insurance regulations, Vista360health will not exclude from coverage a covered health care service or procedure delivered by a Participating Physician to a covered patient as a telemedicine or a telehealth service solely because the covered health care service or procedure is not provided through an in-person consultation.

Vista360health is fully compliant with the requirements of Senate Bill 1107 Sec.1455.004 and Sec.1455.006, 85th Legislature, Regular Session (2017), that went into effect January 1, 2018.
